This installation guide is intended to be used to assist you during the installation of your JK Front Light Mounts from Bantam Overland.
Included Parts:
2 - Light Mount Brackets
2 - Clamp Plates
6 - 1.75 Inch Stainless Carriage Bolts
6 - Stainless Flat Washers
6 - Stainless Nylock Nuts
Lights NOT included
Tools Needed:
- small flathead screwdriver
- panel removal tool
- 7/16th open ended wrench
- wire ties (for lighting wires)
Step 1:
Front Grille Removal
- Remove the push clips that are securing the factory grille on to the body by using a smalI flathead screwdriver or panel removal tool six (6) in total.

PuII the top of the factory grille forward.
- At the parking light connector, pull back red lock tab and disconnect the plug from the parking light, repeat for the other side parking light.

Pull out the bottom of the grille to unclip the bottom clips that secure the grille to the body.
- Be cautious when releasing clips to not scratch the paint on your grille.
- Remove the grill and set aside. Place a piece of cardboard to protect the radiator from any accidentally damage. (This is suggested but not required.)
Step 2:
Mounting the brackets
- Pay attention to any external brake lines. DO NOT PINCH BRAKE LINE
- Install one carriage bolt on the bottom of bracket, repeat step with other bracket.
- Tilt bracket with bolt head facing the radiator and place in the center allowing to slide right or left. There is a LEFT & RIGHT bracket so orient them on the correct side.
- Loosely attach the clamp plate to the mount using only the single bottom carriage bolt & nut on each bracket.
- Loosely install the top 2 carriage bolts & nuts.

Position the mounts on the lower grille frame on each side.
- Each bracket should sit just outside the middle horizontal grille locks.
- DO NOT BLOCK ANY OPENINGS or you will not be able to reinstall the grille.
- Bracket alignment and off set can be adjusted at this time, depending on the type and style of light pod or the LED Light Bar, you may slide the brackets closer together or further apart to fit your light pod or led light bar.
- Once in desired position, begin tightening all bolts evenly with a 7/16th open ended wrench.
- Verify the Brackets are positioned correctly, and the bolts are tight.
- Run any required wiring for light pods or LED light bar, connecting to your desired method. While using wire ties where appropriate to run wires.
Step 3:
Re-installing the grille

Re-install the grille confirming proper fitment.
- Confirm the bottom snaps completely back in.
- Connect both parking light harnesses, reengage the red lock tab.
- Reinstall all 6 push pins to secure the top of the grille.
